Green Point Contributor Product

SS 501 SHATTERSTOP®, is a bi-directional woven polyolefin backed product with acrylic adhesive, designed for superior impact resistance and to ensure the weave will not run in the event of mirror rupture or breakage. SS 501 is applied to the back of mirrors to prevent injury from glass particles and/or shards, should the mirror be broken. SS 501 is a Category II mirror backing tape with an adhesive system to ensure a reliable bond to the back of a mirror and its corresponding mirror backing paint. The bi-directional woven backing provides excellent stability and is exceptionally strong in both directions which conforms to ANSI Z97.1-2004 Class A & BS EN 12600.
